Baya, une héroïne algérienne de l'Art moderne

The Musées de la Ville de Marseille and the Institut du Monde Arabe are joining forces to present the exhibition Baya. A Heroine of Modern Art in Algeria. This large-scale monographic project is dedicated to the work of the Algerian artist Fatma Haddad (Bordj el Kiffan, 1931 - Blida, 1998), known internationally under the pseudonym Baya. Following its presentation at the Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris, this exhibition will be shown for the second time, with the addition of several works and documents, at the Centre de la Vieille Charité in Marseille from 13 May to 24 September 2023.
