Zoubir's work explores the thoughts that evolve in different socio-cultural, ethno-psychic and political contexts. His artistic approach examines social and historical thought through North African poetry and mythology.

Zoubir's wax sculptures, marked with phrases such as "Give us back our sun, humanity, dignity" and "Like anybody I would like to live", express the struggle of individuals to improve their human conditions and explore the complexity of the construction of their physical and mental identity.

Working with translucent wax materials, Zoubir illuminates different mental territories and deconstructs imbalances of thought, challenging the established order and revealing the hidden imaginary.

The artist draws on the positioning and tensions of protest slogans, using textual and contextual interventions to explore the issues at stake in society and the positions of individuals in a world undergoing global change.

His approach emphasises the importance of knowing our starting point in order to imagine our destination and give ourselves the means to exist, thus shedding light on individuals in their society and their positions within a constantly changing world.
