Pandore focuses on a social group, children on the fringes of French society. It takes a dark and disturbing look at the reality of human relationships and the media system and the violence that ensues. The protagonists are invited to reveal themselves, telling their stories that reflect the image of a past and present ‘Myth or Reality’. They stage themselves in artificial positions and postures, filmed in extremely fluid slow-motion sequences. Finally, the lighting invites the viewer into a curious contemplation in the intimacy of a closed, artificial space, giving off an unreal, abnormal atmosphere.
